SCHEDULING 

In-Studio Lessons 

You are entitled to your own set scheduled, weekly time. For In-Studio lessons, please arrive on time to every lesson. You are allowed a 10-minute grace period. Cancellations made at the time of, or after, your scheduled lesson/makeup time, are considered “no shows,” and will not be refunded nor rescheduled. NO EXCEPTIONS. Makeup lessons can only be rescheduled up to 2 times, otherwise they cannot be refunded. A 2 week notice is required if you choose to cancel receiving lessons, otherwise a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged. After 2 months, a re-enrollment fee of $30 will be charged to continue with your lessons. 

In-Home Lessons 

You are entitled to your own set scheduled, weekly time. For In-Home lessons, please note that traveling fees will be charged separately from your tuition fees. Traveling fees may vary in price depending on distance, frequency of visits, and current gas prices. If you need to reschedule a 

lesson, you must do so within 2 hours of that lesson, otherwise, it will be considered a “no-show” and will not be refunded nor be allowed to be rescheduled. NO EXCEPTIONS. Makeup lessons can only be rescheduled up to 2 times. They cannot be refunded otherwise. A 2 week notice is required if you choose to cancel receiving lessons, otherwise a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged. Virtual Lessons 

You are entitled to your own set scheduled, weekly time. For Virtual lessons, you have 2 options for scheduling lessons. You may set your weekly lessons as 60 minutes per lesson. Or you may choose to split those 60 minute lessons into 2 sessions (30 minutes each) on separate days. Both options are the same price. If you need to reschedule a lesson, you must do so within 2 hours of that lesson, otherwise, it will be considered a “no-show” and will not be refunded nor be allowed 

to be made up. NO EXCEPTIONS. Makeup lessons can only be rescheduled up to 2 times. They cannot be refunded otherwise. Hybrid Lessons 

Hybrid lessons are available for those who wish to have more flexible scheduling options, which can include: In-Home, Virtual, and/or In-Studio. You are entitled to your own set scheduled, weekly time. However, they must be scheduled in advance, on a monthly or bi-weekly basis for accommodations to be made as needed. Please note that for In-Home lessons, traveling fees will be charged separately from your tuition fees. ATTENTION 

IN EFFORTS TO REDUCE THE SPREAD OF GERMS AND DISEASES, PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU OR A FAMILY MEMBER IN YOUR HOME IS SICK WITH A FEVER/CHILLS, SNEEZING, COUGH, NAUSEA/VOMITING, DIARRHEA, ETC. PLEASE NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY. STUDENTS EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS, WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RECEIVE THEIR LESSONS IF THEY ARE IN PERSON LESSONS. REMEMBER: “IF YOUR CHILD IS TOO SICK FOR SCHOOL, THEY ARE ALSO TOO SICK TO COME TO THEIR LESSON. IF YOU ARE TOO SICK TO GO TO WORK, YOU ARE ALSO TOO SICK TO BRING YOUR CHILD OR YOURSELF TO YOUR LESSON.” NO EXCEPTIONS.” 

PAYMENTS & FEES

Tuition Fees 

Tuition fees are a set price of $30, per lesson (total of 60 minutes each). Every month, the total of lessons are applied to an invoice, which is then emailed to you. All tuition fees are due on the 1st of every month. Any tuition payments received after the 5th, will result in a suspension of lessons and a late fee of $50 will be charged. Once all fees have been paid and your balance up to date, the suspension of lessons will be lifted. Please note that once a year, tuition fees are subject to change. You will be notified a least a month in advance to any changes being made to your tuition fees. 

Travel Fees 

Travel fees are only for lessons that require a music teacher to travel to a location other than the studio for a lesson to take place. These types of lessons are called In-Home lessons. Travel fees are charged per visit. Please note, this fee is subject to change according to the current gas prices. You will be given a written notice within 2-3 weeks before the effective date of a change in travel fee price chance. 

Re-Enrollment & Cancellation Fees 

A yearly Re-Enrollment fee of $10 will be required for all families. 

A 2 week notice is required if you choose to cancel receiving lessons, otherwise a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged. After 2 months without attendance, students will have to pay a fee of $30 that will be charged to re-establish your lessons. Your previous scheduled time slots may no longer be available once you’ve been removed from the schedule. 

Material Fees 

Any materials (books, flashcards, etc.) supplied to you by your instructor that are needed for your lessons, must be refunded to your teacher in full by the following lesson (no later than 7 days). However, you may purchase your own materials by going on Amazon.com or going to your nearest music store such as Music & Arts Center or Guitar Center. Lesson Books and other materials purchased are typically by Alfred Publishing.
